Description

This steel powder-coated black rack is used to mount both the Messenger Bag and the black Side Bag (sold separately). The rack mounts to the Accessory Mounting Plates (sold separately) at the rear of the bike and is required in order to mount the side bags.

SOLID CONSTRUCION, GOOD QUALITY

Well made – the welds are solid, looks nice and sturdy. Finish scratches a little too easily, which is the reason for the 1-star ding. Tougher powder coating would be nice.

It would also be nice if Indian’s website “suggested” or otherwise reminded forgetful or unobservant people like me that this item requires additional parts to install – would have saved me a week of waiting for the mounting kit to arrive if there was some kind of pop-up or reminder beyond the information in the description – which yes, I realize I should have read more carefully but obviously didn’t!
